The Organising Committee will enhance the presentation of all the postersaccepted for ECSS 2004.

  • There will be 60 panels for the approximately 60 posters accepted.
  • The size of each poster will be of 90 x 100 cm.
  • The posters will be located in the hall where coffee breaks will be held.
  • At the moment of registering all authors will be given a diagram indicating the exact location of their posters.
  • Those authors who would like to make use of the printing service of the University of León to avoid carrying their posters must follow the guidelines in the attached file poster.pdf.
  • There will be 5 minutes for presenting each poster: 3 minutes for the actual presentation and 2 minutes for questions.
  • The oral presentation of the posters will be carried out in Power Point.

Official language: English

  • Total time available: 15 minutes (Presentations: 12 minutes; Questions: 2 minutes) .
  • Format: all presentations must be based on Power Point XP exclusively. No presentations will be admitted based on OHP transparencies.
  • Other requirements: the official travel agency for this conference. Thus, VIACA is in charge of the organization of tourist services for ECSS 2004. The University of León has been working with VIACA for a number of years now organising trips, accommodation facilities and other services for various conferences.

 

Printing Services

Poster printing service of the University of Leon:

  • Size: Posters of 90x110 cm (portrait).
  • Printed on "Blue Back" paper (Xerox), 120 gr.
  • Cost: 25 € (VAT included).
  • Payment: bank transfer to the University of León at the moment of picking up the poster, or by credit card (American Express is not accepted). Receipts will be given.
  • Deadline for receiving the original: 10 days before the conference is due to begin.
  • Sending posters: via e-mail for files of up to 2 Mb (sercar@unileon.es), in shared files or in a hard copy (disquette, CD, zip disc, etc.).
  • Format required: Power Point or Corel Draw.
